Katie is a multifaceted, award-winning business development strategist and communications specialist with almost a decade of experience in a variety of industries. She began her career in education before becoming an entrepreneur who has launched several successful start-up companies.

Katie’s experience spans a wide range of marketing and operations projects, as well as executive leadership. She has developed and co-hosted a variety of podcasts, TV, and YouTube productions that have generated national followings. She has been featured in media such as BBC, NPR, The Cut, FOX, The Doctors, HuffPost, and Elle magazine. Her professional interests lie in well-planned strategy, the nitty-gritty details of operating procedures, and expansive executive leadership that drives the company vision, fosters innovation, and develops growth opportunities for both the business and employees within their careers.

She has a PR Strategies certification from Cornell; won the New England Society of Healthcare Communications Lamplighter award for Social Cause; won the Women’s Distinguished Business Award from WomensNet; was a recipient of the Amber Grant; and worked on campaigns with both nationally and internationally-known brands, such as Marriott.

Katie lives in Portland, Maine with her two children, partner, and a plethora of pets and houseplants. She enjoys travel, reading, writing, and living in a small coastal city with delicious restaurants.
